The Einstein Ethics Group, led by R. Jay Wallace, invites early career philosophers to submit abstracts for a conference taking place at Humboldt University Berlin on December 17-18, 2018.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for discussion of new work in moral philosophy, moral psychology, practical normativity, and social and political philosophy. We welcome papers on questions related to themes in the work of Agnes Callard, James Lenman, or Jay Wallace, but this is not a requirement.
Since this conference aims to bring together early career philosophers, eligibility to submit papers is limited to those who have defended their dissertations no earlier than 2012.
Abstracts should be between 700 and 1000 words in length and provide a summary of the paper’s main conclusions and arguments. The abstracts will be subject to blind review. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2018. Notification of acceptance will be sent out no later than the end of September.
We expect to be able to offer modest financial support to speakers traveling to Berlin for this conference.
Please send your abstract as an anonymized Word document to firstname.lastname@example.org.
